Description du produitRevue de presseQuelle n'est pas la surprise d'Aya et des autres quand débarque dans leur classe une nouvelle élève... qui n'est autre que Nijimin ! La mignonne et ultra populaire idol a subitement décidé de mettre sa carrière entre parenthèses, pour suivre Aya et Tsuyuno dans leurs recherches sur la "Tempest" et sur Rina Shioi... et, ainsi, pour pouvoir tuer cette dernière, qui a assassiné sa meilleure amie. Autant dire qu'il ne vaut mieux par pour Aya et Tsuyuno que Nijimin découvre où se trouve Rina. Mais c'est sans compter sur Sarina : elle-même désireuse de se venger de nos deux héroïnes, elle les prend en chasse, armée de ses récents pouvoirs de magical girl, et non sans avoir révélé auparavant la "cachette" de Rina à Nijimin...L'entrée de Sarina dans le cercle des magical girls et la soif de vengeance de Nijimin étaient, dans le précédent tome, des éléments susceptibles d'amener du lourd, et ça ne manque pas ! Car après deux premiers volumes très intrigants, Kentarô Satô donne ici un coup d'accélérateur autour de rebondissements dont l'ambiance enragée et de plus en plus chaotique n'a rien à envier à son autre série, Magical Girl of the End. Durant toute la première partie du volume, l'ambiance va crescendo, portée par la soif de vengeance quasiment folle de Sarina, mais aussi de Nijimin de son côté. On se laisse pleinement happer par cette accélération de rythme, d'autant qu'il faut saluer le travail éditorial sur l'adaptation des onomatopées, qui ont ici une grande importance et sont très bien intégrées.Mais tout cela n'est pas gratuit, n'a pas pour unique intérêt le sens du divertissement : plus que jamais, Satô y expose surtout certaines réalités sociétales ayant fortement conditionné les personnages. L'ijime dont fut victime Aya et la situation de Tsuyuno trouvent un nouvel écho, dès lors qu'elles doivent se confronter à une Sarina qui n'est animée que par sa soif de vengeance, sa douleur d'avoir perdu ses amis... Et la confrontation, de face, portée par des paroles sincères, que se livrent à un moment Aya et Sarina n'en apparaît alors que plus forte. Qu'est-ce que cette soif de vengeance, que ce soit du côté de Sarina ou de Nijimin, pourrait apporter de bon à ces filles ? En tout cas, dans cette situation, on a tout le loisir de cerner l'évolution d'Aya, s'extirpant de son caractère effacé pour montrer tout ce que représente pour elle Tsuyuno, sa première véritable amie.Le résultat est vraiment prenant, d'autant que l'auteur, en parallèle, sait encore apporter quelques notes d'humour quand même un brin inquiétantes (aaah, la triple personnalité de Nijimin, pouvant passer soudainement de gamine mignonne à souhait à vengeresse tarée, ou à jeune fille transie d'amour), et qu'il continue d'intriguer grandement sur la "Tempest", sur les conséquences de l'utilisation abusive de plusieurs baguettes magiques, sur l'objectif de Nana, et sur l'arrivée en fin de tome d'une nouvelle donne très intrigante. Mais ce qu'on retient surtout, c'est bien ce rythme fou assez dramatique, et la façon dont la naissance des magical girls et les événements puisent leur source dans les malheurs et les problèmes tristement réalistes des personnages... 3.25 I actually really hated volume one of this when I first read it then I decided to give it another chance since I enjoyed what I read of Magical Girl Site (same author, though as far as I can tell the two series only share the magical girl/horror theme) and I'm glad I did. More actual story is now finally introduced instead of just crazy violence and gore and now I'm intrigued.
